Artist's Comments

So I went to Penny Lane over spring break and my old dev didn't really work out for the feeling of Liverpool.

The barber's pole spinny thing says "Tony Slavin's", which is the name of the barber shop.

I like the pose here... and the buttons, for some reason...

I believe a more well defined light source would really improve this picture.

Thankee, sir. I've never been any good with light sources. I try, lulz.

Not too sure what kind of critique you want (do you want it over the realistic look or just style wise), but I'll give what I think. She looks very cute, but the main thing I'm seeing on her is that her head is a little big, and the perspective seems off. I think her torso is a bit long and the legs are short too. She also looks a tad bit stiff because of how long her torso is, and I think her back should be bending just a little too.

Also, it kinda looks like the barber sign is sticking out of her leg and head. I think that sign is the thing that's throwing the perspective off and to be honest, it really doesn't seem to fit with the rest drawing. And lastly, the chain does look a little rushed. Maybe add some more depth to it next time, and remember they all won't be in the same position and flat like that.

But other than those things, the drawing is good! I like her style and the colors. I agree that the pose is pretty cute too; it makes her likeable. Good work!

Holehcrap, wall of text. In a good way, lol. I for sure got fed up with the chain and rushed. Bad habit I'm trying to stop, haaa... For sure the legs are too short too. But thanks for the crit :)
