Twas about time for an update on this.
2003: These were the first pic I scanned and the first pic I colored digitally. Notice the Samurai Jack style square heads. 2004: I had this weird turkish thing going. That sword is a yatagan. It's turkish. I started putting in some "muscles" (read lumps) later this year, like in the second one. 2005: For some reason I like those two. Started messing with shading digitally, experimented with Zargap/Zeru's costume. 2006: These were only a year ago? Wow. Still can't color for shit... Settled on a final Zeru costume. 2007: I'm starting to get clothes better now. I'm not perfect or anything yet, and I'm trying harder than ever. Enjoy. |

Very nice job keeping the same basic character through all that time. (I have a problem with that. My characters will 'magically' change hairstyles throughout a series I'm doing) XD
And I think your shading and coloring skills are becoming very well done.

And you know, I admire how you actually were able to stick to an original character for so many years... I always make up a new one every few months of drawing or so.
